Question: - Your galeries are chaotic!
Ferenc Piller: - So is universe. However, I don't believe in chaos in common sense... Mathematicians, physicists and of course philosophers have created marvelouse »essays« on this.

Question: - Why don't your photographs have titles, others put titles on everything?!
Ferenc Piller: - (?!...) If your eyes don't see, titles won't make them see either... The old »one-picture-says-more-than-thousand-words« thing is true - indeed, pictures talk. If it doesn't tell you anything, it didn't talk to you. You don't talk indiscriminate to everybody, do you? Even if they blow a message with 10 billion watts on the air - if you got the wrong frequency you will not get it though it is more than »loud«. I feel quiet comfortable about this.

Question: - What kind of equipment do you use?
Ferenc Piller: - A very handy exposure meter, additionally another one with object/spot/flash metering are almost always with me. I use various cordless flashes with TTL-control if necessary, nevertheless I try to manage with reflectors etc in general - its more about getting details out of shadows than »making the light« for a shot. On assignments I don't fear using large scale flash equipment even outside - budget and powersupply are the only limiting factors... I consider natural light beeing the most valueable, but talking artificial illumination I prefer large softboxes and so on. This topic doesn't belong on this website of mine though.

Question: - Which CAMERAS do you use!??
Ferenc Piller: - _Yeah, there we go..._ Well, it depends on the aim and purpose of a production. Film or digital, high resolution or not critical. I work almost thirty years now with film material - you don't just quit like that, simply because I like »real« photographs. Private and for my own, I still prefer film, even if you find me running around with digital backs and bodies. System cameras have the advantage to live up to my requirements, which maker you choose is almost a matter of belief. In a production environment there is hardly a choice since about the beginning of the third millennium. Enough, we're drifting far offshore for this website now...
